Chapter 332
He Never Noticed Me Until I Loved Someone Else novel Chapter 332
A short while later, they arrived at Fuller Manor.
As they stepped out of the car, Jarrod extended his hand, signaling he wanted to lead her inside.
In the past, whenever they visited the manor, they strictly maintained a polite distance. Even when they needed to feign affection in front of the elders, Stella would merely loop her arm through his. They had never once walked in fully holding hands.
While Stella hesitated, Jarrod took matters into his own hands, wrapping his large palm firmly around hers and leading her toward the house.
Along the way, the passing staff couldn’t hide their amused smiles, respectfully greeting them with “Mr. Fuller” and “Mrs. Fuller.” The tips of Stella’s ears flushed slightly.
As they entered the grand living room, Uncle Edward and Uncle Silas were already there, engaged in conversation.
Grandpa Fuller sat in his grand armchair, and surprisingly, Yvette was seated right beside him.
Ever since Yvette had shown up at SD Apparel with fruit to apologize, Stella hadn’t seen her. She definitely didn’t expect to run into her here.
Yvette was dressed elegantly, her face adorned with flawless makeup, though it couldn’t fully mask the exhaustion lingering around her eyes.
Hearing them enter, Yvette looked up.
Her gaze lingered on their joined hands for a split second before she looked away, her face breaking into a warm, familiar smile. “Jarrod, Stella! You’re here! I had some free time today, so I figured I’d drop by to see Grandpa Fuller.”
Jarrod gave a brief nod, leading Stella over to greet the elders.
Stella politely offered her greetings as well.
Uncle Edward maintained his usual lukewarm expression, but Uncle Silas beamed, saying, “Look at you two coming back together. Seems like things are going pretty well between you lately!”
“See, Dad? I told you we didn’t need to worry about the kids’ business. They were threatening divorce earlier, and now they’re practically glued to the hip!” Silas joked to Grandpa Fuller.
Seeing his grandson and granddaughter-in-law on good terms, Grandpa Fuller was naturally pleased. He nodded approvingly. “As long as you’ve made up, that’s what matters.”
“Stella, Jarrod, it’s high time you two start planning for a baby!”
