Chapter 293
He Never Noticed Me Until I Loved Someone Else novel Chapter 293
Sebastian immediately spotted Jarrod as well and protectively pulled Stella behind him.
His eyes narrowed coldly. “What do you want now?”
Remembering how Jarrod had just kicked Sebastian’s chair twice inside the theater, and seeing his dangerously explosive expression now, Stella’s first instinct was that another fight was about to break out.
She quickly grabbed Sebastian’s sleeve, signaling him not to engage with Jarrod.
But in Jarrod’s eyes, that simple gesture looked entirely like Stella taking Sebastian’s side.
Jarrod’s gaze locked viciously onto the fingers gripping Sebastian’s sleeve, his fury radiating so intensely it practically turned the air to ice.
Sensing the sudden drop in temperature, Stella instinctively pulled her hand back.
“Jarrod, Stella and I didn’t come to the movies alone tonight. Our coworkers are inside. Stop looking at us like we’ve committed a crime against you,” Sebastian warned.
Jarrod shot him a lethal glare, his voice laced with venom. “Get the hell out.”
Sebastian stood his ground. “If you’re still throwing a temper tantrum and want to swing at me, we can take this somewhere else. Stop trying to intimidate Stella!”
Hearing that, Jarrod’s face darkened even further. He stared coldly at Sebastian. “And who the hell are you to play her protector?”
Seeing the explosive tension between the two men, Stella stepped in. “Sebastian, you should go ahead. I’ll talk to him.”
But Sebastian refused to leave. “Stella, he never listens to reason. I’m not leaving you alone with him.”
Jarrod’s aura turned suffocating, a volatile darkness sweeping across his features.
Exhausted by the endless drama, Stella sighed. “Fine. You two talk. I’m leaving.”
“Stella, don’t be mad,” Sebastian quickly realized his mistake and stepped back, compromising. “I’ll wait for you in the car.”
