Chapter 334
He Never Noticed Me Until I Loved Someone Else novel Chapter 334

Stella actually let out a laugh at Jarrod’s reaction. “I’m sure.”

“In the future, if Yvette needs help, she can just come straight to you. There’s no need to walk on eggshells like this. I’m not some tyrant,” Stella added.

Jarrod wrapped his arms tighter around Stella’s waist, his voice low and magnetic. “But I kind of want you to be a tyrant. If any woman tries to get close to me, I want you to get furiously jealous and chase them off. That would prove how much you care.”

Stella, “…” That was absolutely not how she planned on proving anything.

Stella pushed Jarrod away. “Alright, enough. Go give Yvette your answer. We’re at Fuller Manor, so have some self-awareness. It would be incredibly awkward if Jasper walked back in and caught us like this.”

Instead, Jarrod pulled her even closer, nuzzling the top of her head. His voice grew slightly raspy. “We are a married couple. Holding my own wife is perfectly normal. Let him see.”

With that, he lowered his head, his nose gently brushing against Stella’s earlobe. “Stella, I missed you so much. Can I please stay over at your place tonight?”

The gentle brushing made the tips of Stella’s ears itch, but she shoved him away without a second thought. “Absolutely not.”

Jarrod was just about to reach out and pull her back when the faint sound of footsteps echoed near the door.

Stella and Jarrod both shot a glance toward the entrance. To their surprise, it was Yvette.

“I’m so sorry, I wasn’t intentionally eavesdropping. I was just terrified you two might end up arguing over me, so I wanted to come up and clear the air right away.”

Yvette spoke with a mix of utter embarrassment and profound apology. “When I saw you two were fine, I was about to leave, but you unfortunately caught me…”

Hearing this, Jarrod’s playful smile vanished instantly, his tone shifting back to its usual cool detachment. “Yvette, I am only helping you because of my promise to your mother. Stella knows this perfectly well. You don’t need to act like you’re constantly walking on eggshells. Stella is not the type to hold pointless grudges.”

The intense embarrassment on Yvette’s face faded slightly, and she offered a gentle nod. “I know. Stella has always been incredibly gracious. I just feel terribly guilty constantly imposing on you.”

Yvette turned toward Stella with an expression of immense gratitude. “Stella, thank you so much for understanding. Once my divorce is finalized, I will formally thank you and Jarrod.”
