Chapter 357
He Never Noticed Me Until I Loved Someone Else novel Chapter 357
It was Yvette.
Seeing Stella, Yvette offered a warm, friendly smile.
“Stella, are you getting off work? Perfect timing. Let’s grab dinner together!”
Recently, Yvette had been dealing with a messy divorce from her husband, and Jarrod had intervened a few times.
Jarrod had mentioned earlier that the issue was mostly resolved.
Seeing how energetic Yvette looked now, Stella guessed the divorce had gone through smoothly.
Yvette confirmed Stella’s thoughts with a laugh. “The court ruling came down yesterday. I’m finally free from my ex-husband’s family. I’m officially a single woman again.”
“I really have Jarrod to thank for all of this. I originally wanted to invite both of you out to celebrate, but he’s swamped with work, so I came to find you instead.”
Yvette pressed on, “Stella, I managed to book a table at The Hidden Garden Bistro. It’s incredibly hard to get a reservation there. Just consider it a celebration of my escape from that nightmare, and keep me company!”
Unable to refuse such an earnest invitation, Stella agreed.
Before heading to the bistro, Stella texted Jarrod to let him know she was having dinner with Yvette.
Jarrod replied quickly, telling her to let him know when she was heading home so they could head back at the same time.
Even though they were living under the same roof, Jarrod was drowning in work, so they hadn’t actually spent much time together.
Stella also wanted to ask him about Silas’s corporate attacks, so she figured this worked out well.
Noticing Stella texting Jarrod non-stop, Yvette teased her.
“Stella, you and Jarrod really are inseparable, aren’t you?”
Stella just smiled and didn’t say anything.
About forty minutes later, they arrived at The Hidden Garden Bistro.
Tucked deep inside a classical garden, the restaurant was incredibly serene and elegant, with exquisitely crafted dishes.
When the food was served, the owner offered them a complimentary bottle of homemade osmanthus wine, claiming it had a rich, unique aroma they had to try.
