“Stella, is that true? Who would do such a thing? Did the police catch them?” Sylvia gasped, playing the shocked mother beautifully.

At the mention of the equestrian club and the repeated encounters, a flash of pure terror crossed Seraphina’s eyes, though she scrambled to mask it.
